It always exciting me, In nearly every garden that I designed (In original country, Israel) - seemed to have one!. The reason is lemon tree is not just givving very useful fruit for drinks and cooking, looks good and smell well, It also provides flower and fruit for a long period of the year In addtion the greatest part for gardening is that the fruit can be kept on the tree for a very long time.
In Aggriculture for exampple we like all the fruit to be ready to pick together but in the garden it is great that you know that you can nearly everyday go out to the garden and pick a fresh lemon.
I have seen big trees in gardens that we picked several hundreds of these fruit.
So back to the UK, It is great to see your blog- seems like you did a lot in a short time.
Keep on going the first few years are the hardest but than it is easier. My accountant used to say: '' in the end of each winter there is spring''
So I live in the UK staffordshire, and supply few great products that I used to work with in Israel. Made from 100% recycled plastic.
For example a proffesional soultion for path edging and garden lawn edging. it looks like the metal edging and do the same job.
Also easy raised beds to schools and allotments, 12v garden lighting and more.
To get my living I am a retained fire-fighter in our rural station.
